Sample Incentive Programs

 

The City (4 nights)


Day 1: Arrival in Panama

Welcome at Panama Tocumen Airport and transfer to your hotel. Free time to freshen up and enjoy some down time at the pool. This evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail reception and dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 2: Experience the famous Canal, by land and water

After breakfast, we visit the famous Miraflores Locks and watch the massive ships and the lock operation. Then, we move to nearby Gamboa Resort for lunch. In the afternoon, we will briefly navigate along those massive ships you saw this morning before entering the Canal’s backstage in search of wildlife. Dinner will be in Casco Antiguo, the beautiful colonial district where you can also enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife.

 

Day 3: The Pearl Islands

Board a beautiful catamaran and set sail for the Pearl Islands, a paradise for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking right off its white sand beaches. We can even look for humpback whales and dolphins during whale season. A picnic lunch or barbeque at the beach will be served and then we will have plenty of free time to enjoy the beach before admiring the city’s skyline on our return trip.  Dinner at local restaurant of your choice.

 

Day 4: Colonial Panama, shopping, and Panama La Vieja

Morning guided walk along the narrow cobblestone streets and plazas of the Colonial Quarter. The old city founded in 1673 displays a mixture of French and Spanish influences, which add a unique touch to this bustling and colorful neighborhood.  The afternoon is free to relax at the hotel or visit the Albrook or Multiplaza Malls and do some shopping. This evening, we head for the ruins of Panama La Vieja, the first city founded by the Spanish in the isthmus, which was later sacked and destroyed by Pirate Henry Morgan. Our farewell dinner will take place at the spectacular ruins of the old cathedral, whose tower is today a lookout point.

 

Day 5: Departure day

This morning, we will be transferred to the airport in time for our departure flight.

 

The Canal Basin (3 or 4 nights)


Day 1: Arrival in Panama

Welcome at Panama Tocumen Airport and transfer to your hotel in the Canal Basin area. Free time to freshen up and enjoy some down time at the pool. This evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail reception and dinner at the hotel. After dinner, we embark on a night safari in search of nocturnal animals.

 

Day 2: Explore the Panama Canal, by land and water

Spend your first day exploring the pristine Soberania National Park first hiking along some easy forest trails and then jumping on a boat and navigating along the Panama Canal to small islands teeming with wildlife. This evening, we visit the famous Miraflores Locks to learn about the lock operation before having dinner at the main building terrace while watching the massive ships roll by.

 

Day 3: Play time + Colonial Panama and farewell dinner

It is time to play! We will spend the morning at our rainforest resort competing on diverse team recreational activities exclusively designed for your group by our expert team. After lunch and some down time, we depart for a guided walking tour along the narrow cobblestone streets and plazas of the Colonial Quarter. The old city founded in 1673 displays a mixture of French and Spanish influences, which add a unique touch to this bustling and colorful neighborhood. Options for our farewell dinner include one of our favorite historic hotels, the Canal Museum, or a trendy terrace. Later on, we can enjoy Panama’s vibrant nightlife right on the Quarter before returning to our hotel.

 

Day 4: A day with the Embera (optional)

Morning transfer to Lake Alajuela, where you will step into small dugout canoes to travel up the Chagres River along a dense jungle. A short hike to a beautiful waterfall in the midst of the rainforest will invite us to relax and enjoy this tropical paradise far away from civilization. Later on, the Embera will escort us to their village, where the chief will be waiting to give you a brief explanation on the history of the tribe, traditions, culture, beliefs and handicrafts. We will have a typical lunch of fresh fish and plantains followed by a traditional dance and some surprise team competitions. The Embera will be our judges and winners will be rewarded with some beautiful Embera handcrafts.

 

Day 4 or 5: Departure day

This morning, we will be transferred to the airport in time for our departure flight.

 

Pacific Beach Sun & Fun (3 or 4 nights)


Day 1: Arrival in Rio Hato

Welcome at Panama Tocumen Airport and departure towards Rio Hato. En route, we will stop at a typical restaurant to enjoy traditional Panamanian snacks. Upon arrival in Rio Hato, time to freshen up before enjoying a welcome cocktail reception at the Golf Club followed by a barbeque dinner under the stars.

 

Day 2: The Panama of yesteryear

We leave after breakfast to visit the Panama that few tourists ever get to experience. Deep in the countryside we may enjoy a full rum tour in Panama’s most famous hacienda, complete with a ride in oxcarts, visit to the sugar cane plantation, rum processing plant, typical Panamanian lunch, and, of course, rum tasting. Or we can just spend the day at the resort enjoying the gorgeous facilities and beach, playing golf, horseback riding, or even rafting in the mountains.

 

Day 3: Fun Olympics

We depart after breakfast for Punta Chame where our hosts have prepared a full array of fun and exciting games. Get ready to set your child spirit free again and have a blast frolicking by the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Options include: Stand-up paddling races, paintball battles, archery team battles, beach volley and soccer tennis matches, balance board competitions, football table and ping pong, etc. This evening, back in Rio Hato, we will enjoy our farewell dinner either on the beach club overlooking the ocean or in the courtyard under the stars.

 

Day 4: Panama City (optional)

Say goodbye to Rio Hato as we make our way back to Panama City. Upon arrival, we will visit the famous Miraflores Locks and watch the massive ships and the operation of the locks. Lunch at Miraflores Terrace overlooking the ships and transfer to hotel. Dinner will be in Casco Antiguo, the beautiful colonial district where we can also enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife.

 

Day 4 or 5: Departure day

This morning, we will be transferred to Panama City in time for our departure flight.
